Do people know that you only get 7500 extra cbills (2.500 for assist, 5.000 for cap) for capping?

You get up to 30000 cbills for Salvage bonus.

Stop capping and GET SOME KILLS. I'm getting tired of having to be stuck with 2-3 Capwarriors since they cried so much to eliminate 8 man premades which forces my team to make separate groups instead of being able to play together.

While free players make less for winning and losing a match in an owned mech due to repairs and rearms. The most profitable thing to do in an owned mech, as a free player, is to cap the base, so you don't have to pay for expensive repairs and rearms.

I also think people should have my kind of fun, not theirs.

Did you know that if you do it right, capping lures all that delicious salvage straight to you?

Seriously, the best herding of PUGs (ours and theirs) I've seen was sending one scout to lead them back towards their own cap while the rest of us took the short route to it, then blowing each other to bits (ideally, with our side winning) and letting the last opponent run if they liked.

But the real reason people cap early and quick is very simple. They need money, and a cap win is the fastest route to it per round. I actually enjoy those kinds of wins, because to me it's the equivalent of giving the other team a tactical wedgie. Speed caps only happen when the other team is blind and stumbling around like a three-legged mule that's been stuck in a snowdrift since last January.

Expensive repairs and rearms? Take a Trial mech then LOL. And don't tell me how much Trial mech sucks because it's completely irrelevant when 9/10 of players in this community are lame enough to run for a base before engaging in any kind of COMBAT whatsoever.

Capping doesn't lure salvage if you don't destroy any mechs. Pretty much defeats the whole purpose of playing Mechwarrior. I'm sure there are some nice CTF type games you can play since Mechwarrior may not be your cup of tea.

I guarantee I make more money destroying mechs than you do capping. If you guys find any pride in cheap wins in something as trivial as a video game, you guys have serious life issues. Just saying. I can't wait till we can start having 8 man premades again so I can start playing Mechwarrior and not Capwarrior with you babies looking for "easy" virtual money..

C-Bills per second is much higher if you do the objective.

Wait for the Assault map mode. Do not hate on the player base because they are doing the objectives (and for added benefit of the team).

LOL.
Dont like capping... dont play ASSAULT, go play deathmatch.

Capping to win is an objective - deal with it.
Do your ******** objectives.

Bet your one of those noobs that run around trying to find the last two mechs to kill while YOUR base gets capped and you loose even though your team has the upper hand...

Sometimes, capturing the enemy base is the only feasible way of winning a match.
Keep it in mind that you will not receive any salvage bonuses if your team loses, no matter how many enemies you've put a killshot to.

sure, a battled out match where you kill everyone gives you 200k or w/e. I can win 3 speedcap matches in that time for 130 each.

Anyone tested this? As i do know someone that tested it over hour time frames. Speed caping vs fought out battles. And the found out battles earned more over that time then speed capping.

I think you're delusional and fail troll, you contradict yourself in half your statements and then come out shooting at peoples knees because they've handled your weak troll attempt . . .

so buck up there skipper, lets see just how much money you've made & how big a B A L L E R (really it *** out b a l l e r ) you are P i M P'n (and P I M P ' N - OMG PGI fix that stupid filter already! ! !) . . . i bet you have your one founders and crap else because you make change running trial mechs all the time acting like a 2 yr old throwing a fit because people don't agree with your kindergarten math-antics

And don't argue extremes either, speed cap has it's place - brawling has it's place, I find most people tear it up til the last couple mechs and either cap (if it's close enough and available) or grind it out. . . either way if you play flexible and realize the goal is to cap / kill with decided superiority, then do it. . . you'll be just fine!

Team deathmatch != assault. Also capping gives additional GXP afaik, too bad that defending does not :-(

You're the one trying to make things personal and trash talk people over said "trivial" video game.

You brought up a topic, and we're discussing our own views on it. Your opinion does not make ours invalid, and ours do not make yours invalid. That's how opinions work. There's nothing wrong with challenging popular views like this, but can't we keep it civil?

The problem is that the current game mode is not to your liking. Unfortunately the fast cappers are playing the game as intended. I think you will likely enjoy when we get a deathmatch mode. Just hang on until we get death match.

Good point. I think the drop ship mode sounds more in line with what you're after. If I remember right it's basically going to be TDM where you deploy in 4 of your mechs in succession.
